03/01/2023 The following is a list of specific duties, which are considered to be essential functions of the inventory Assistant position.
The list is not exhaustive as all positions at Nursery, Inc, and Goodmark Nurseries, LLC are dynamic.

MAJOR OBJECTIVES:
Major inventory objectives are to maintain live, accurate inventories for Goodmark Nurseries.
Duties include daily updates of inventories our software system and the Goodmark website.
Monitor additions of plant material harvested, purchased and depletions of plant material sold.
Print and assist in labeling of all plant material.
Assist the Inventory Manager in inventory and cycle counts.
Assist in tagging of all new orders.
Identify priority blocks to be harvested.
Communicate with the management team on any issues that might arise.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
Assist in an accurate inventory and order completion.
Assist Inventory Manager in sustaining profitable growth.
Quality work.
Essential Functions:
Inventory Control Work closely with Field and Yard Territory Team Leads as well as Sales staff addressing and resolving issues that contribute to inventory discrepancies.
Assist in conducting two complete inventories, one after spring dig and one after fall dig.
Assist in manual additions and depletions due to crop changes, death, size changes, etc.

Maintain accurate locations of all incoming plant material.
Print and assist in labeling of plant material.
Provide feedback to Grower of observation made in the field in relation to plant quality, insect and disease problems, and any growth issues.
Assist in tagging of all new orders and communicate completion to Sales Team Assist with top customer sales tours.
Inventory Analysis Assist in recording all scrap, shortages, and over-production numbers to Inventory Manager.
Analyze inventory results and report on any inventory variance.
Communicate effectively with nursery clients and team members.
Coordinate daily activities under changing circumstances to Inventory Manager Use independent judgment to develop creative solutions to problems that may arise in the course of a workday.
Identify problem areas; make suggestions and assist in implementing solutions in conjunction with your Manager; work toward the continual improvement of the nurseries.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Must have the ability to communicate in English Bilingual is a plus Must be able to think independently, foresee and resolve problems Must have the capacity to drive throughout the nursery and conduct daily tours and visual inspections of work performed and in progress Nursery field experience helpful PREREQUISITES:
Horticultural knowledge required Driver's license required.
